For more than five years, AidLink has helped families learn how to manage college costs, select the best schools for their children and take charge of the entire college process. Thousands of families have taken part in our programs and no one has ever had to pay us a cent.
AidLink was founded in 2003 as the community outreach arm of Complete College Solutions, Inc., one of the nation's top college planning firms. Building on decades of experience, CCS realized that, for many parents, the greatest obstacle to funding their child's education wasn't a lack of money - but a lack of knowledge. As time has passed we've grown from a tiny operation in Hershey, Pennsylvania to a regional leader in college planning education.
As the need for this kind of education has grown - the number of college students is expected to nearly double in the next decade - so have we. We've realized that a small staff of experts can only do so much, so we've developed a network of education and finance professionals to bring this important program to towns and cities throughout the country. As we begin the transition from a private operating foundation to a membership organization you'll see a lot of changes - new programs, new faces and new services and new ideas to make the college process simpler and less expensive.
Starting with the 2009-10 season, our specially-designed program, "Navigating the College Maze" will presented at dozens of locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and North Carolina. As we expand our membership network expect to see even more locations - hopefully there will be one near you! (If you're a finance or educational professional and want to learn how you can help us help families, please contact us.)
Our goal is to provide families with helpful, unbiased information without charge. If you've attended a seminar or worked with one of our members and feel differently, please contact Associate Director Joshua Etterman as soon as possible. All of our members have undergone extensive training and have agreed to our strict ethics policy. Our goal is to help all families so we take concerns and complaints very seriously.
